The Bandana Society began with Sir Charles, my beloved dachshund and quite possibly the best-dressed dog to ever live. His wardrobe could rival most peoples, and his love of looking dapper inspired the idea behind The Bandana Society.

I've always loved creating things with my hands and eventually fell completely in love with sewing. What started as a creative outlet became a way to combine some of my favorite things: dogs, crafting, thrifting, and a little bit of fantasy.

My love of fantasy books brought to life the whimsical world of The Bandana Society, while my love of thrifting inspired the use of reclaimed, vintage, and thrifted fabrics whenever I can find them. I love giving beautiful fabrics a second life and turning them into something completely new—and hopefully something your dog will love wearing.

Every piece is handmade in small batches with a lot of creativity, a little bit of fun, and a whole lot of love for exceptionally well-dressed dogs.

Charles may no longer be here to oversee the wardrobe, but The Bandana Society is my way of carrying a little piece of him forward. I hope every piece brings as much joy to your dog as dressing him brought to me.
